Need help after hours? We know that problems don't keep to a 9:30-4:00 schedule. If you're a student in need of support after hours, we encourage you to contact one of the community resources listed here.

It's important for you to familiarize yourself with the Faculty's continuation and promotion requirements, and know what you need to graduate from UBC. In addition, know your rights and responsibilities as a student.

Making the most of your university experience and preparing for a career after graduation means getting involved outside the classroom as well as in your classes. There are countless ways to make the most of your LFS and UBC experience!

For questions about opportunities for involvement and giving back within the Faculty and on campus, questions about student leadership roles, the LFS Mentorship Program, engagement advising, and your orientation and transition experience, Thilini, LFS Student Engagement Officer, is here to help. Submit your inquiry via email.

For question about career paths and opportunities for LFS students, Allison, LFS Career Strategist, is here to help. Go here to see the different career resources available to you or book a career advising appointment.

Post-secondary education is a significant financial investment. Through its awards and scholarships, UBC offers many different ways to cover the cost of your education — and to celebrate your accomplishments.

If you have plans to go on exchange, or wish to learn more about the kinds of international opportunities you can take advantage of during your degree, our Go Global Advisor Roxana is here to help you plan things out. Roxana would love to chat with you, and you can book advising appointments with her by sending her a quick email.
