UBC Dietetics & Medicine Students Collaborate in Vij’s Kitchen

On February 26, 2020, UBC dietetics and medical students took part in an extracurricular, interprofessional cooking event in Vij’s Kitchen.

“In this inaugural event, UBC dietetic and medical students learned about hypertension while preparing and tasting a delicious DASH-based meal (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension)” said Gail Hammond, an instructor in the Food, Nutrition and Health program. “LFS looks forward to more of these powerful interprofessional experiential collaborations between UBC health students.”
